EDITOR'S NOTE: It’s strongly recommended that you consult with your physician before beginning this or any exercise program.
Many of us experience neck pain and shoulder stiffness which can limit our daily activities. In this video, Kingsville yoga and fitness instructor Marilyn Farnworth demonstrates three stretches for the neck (rolls, ear-to-shoulder, chin-to-chest), and nine for the shoulders (rolls and shrugs, cross body, eagle arms, hand clasp behind back, overhead shoulder, front shoulder and chest, wall down dog, thread the needle and cactus arms). Tight shoulders and neck pain can lead to reduced range of motion. Practising these stretches will help you improve your neck and shoulder mobility.
